How many remote jobs name a specific tool?

56%of open remote roles we read name at least one tool on our list.

6,436 of 11,538 roles read, at 587 companies. 67 different tools appear across open roles today.

How we know. Each posting is read against a fixed list of tools that leans to business software (CRM, finance, data and cloud tools, plus Python, SQL and TypeScript); 67 of them appear in open roles today. A tool not on the list, Java for one, is not counted, so this is not a full ranking of programming languages. AI tools means Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Cursor. "GCP" counts only beside another cloud or data tool, because in clinical postings it means Good Clinical Practice. Roles are counted the way /jobs counts them: one per company and title, open and seen in the last day. Pay is the median midpoint of posted US-dollar ranges, shown where 50 or more roles state one.
