How we know. We read each posting's text for what it says about visas. "Rules it out" means it says there is no sponsorship, that you must work without current or future sponsorship, or that you must already be authorized to work in a named country. "Sponsors" means it says visa sponsorship is offered. Everything else, including postings that say nothing, counts as not ruling it out; that is what the /jobs visa filter shows. Phrase matching misses unusual wording, so read the posting before you apply. Roles are counted the way /jobs counts them: one per company and title, open and seen in the last day, and the region counts use the /jobs region filter, so each opens to the same roles.
