Agencies pay it to cover their phones after hours.
Hospices, home health agencies, physician groups and health plans hand their after-hours and weekend calls to IntellaTriage. A licensed nurse answers first, follows the client's own protocols (Schmitt-Thompson based), documents into the client's medical record and dispatches the client's on-call staff when a visit is needed. It also sells daytime care team coordination, post-discharge patient calls and a nurse advice line.
