Family subscriptions pay most of the bills.

Three quarters of revenue is paid memberships for the Life360 and Tile apps. Tile and pet GPS hardware is shrinking. Other revenue (data and partnerships, including ads) is the fastest grower, and the Nativo deal in January 2026 made ads a line of its own.

Most of the 2025 profit was a tax entry.

Net income was $150.8M in 2025 on $32.7M of pretax income. The difference is mainly a $118.4M benefit from releasing a valuation allowance on US deferred tax assets.

The release says management now expects to use its past losses, a good sign. But the business earned about a fifth of the headline profit.

Half of revenue comes through Apple.

Apple, as the App Store channel, was 50% of Q2 2026 revenue (54% a year earlier) and 44% of receivables. Google was 19%.

These are app stores collecting from families, not customers who can walk away. But a fee or policy change by either platform would hit the whole business.

    Stock pay erases operating profit.

Q2 2026 stock-based compensation was $22.8M, up from $15.2M. Operating result was a $0.06M loss in Q2 and an $8.1M loss in Q1, while adjusted EBITDA was $31.1M in Q2.

The adjusted profit figure leaves out stock pay. Equity is a big part of pay here, which is good for staff if the stock does well.
