Most open roles really are remote, US only.
OnePay Ashby board, checked Nov 3, 2026On Nov 3, 2026 the Ashby board listed 41 roles: 33 tagged United States (Remote), 4 New York City interns (office 3 to 4 days a week) and 4 Bangalore roles (office 3 days a week). One AI Research Intern is tagged remote but its text asks for 3 to 4 office days in New York.
Full-time US roles are remote, and postings call the company a remote-first team. Interns and the India team are hybrid. Check the text of any intern posting, not just the tag.

Walmart's annual report names OnePay but not its stake.
Walmart 10-K FY2026, filed Mar 13, 2026Walmart's 10-K for the year to Jan 2026 calls it 'our OnePay fintech venture' in risk factors on financial services and advertising rules. We found no ownership percentage or OnePay financials in it. Press reports call Walmart the majority owner.
OnePay is small inside Walmart's numbers, so it gets no separate disclosure. Staff equity value rests on reported prices, not filings.

It took Walmart pay-later away from Affirm.
CNBC via NBC News, Mar 17, 2025In Mar 2025 Klarna became the exclusive lender behind OnePay installment loans at Walmart, 3 to 36 months, online and in stores. Affirm had held the Walmart slot since 2019; its shares fell 13% that morning.

Card spending is a large revenue pool. Synchrony carries the loans, so OnePay's share depends on contract terms that are not public.

What has to be true for $4 billion to hold?
The starting revenue is OnePay's own reported figure. A way to think, not a forecast, and not investment advice.
At 20x, OnePay needs $200 million of revenue to be worth $4 billion. Your world gets there with $392 million, so the next round likely prices above the last.
$100,000 of equity valued at the $4.00B Employee share buyback price would be worth about $196,000 on paper in this world, before dilution from new rounds, taxes and vesting. Private shares only turn into cash at a sale, an IPO or a tender offer.
